1) Information We Collect
Account Information (Firebase Auth)
When you sign in with Google or email, Firebase provides us with your name (if available), email address, Firebase user ID, and profile image (Google accounts only). We do not receive your password.
Prompt Playground Data
To operate your account, we store the prompts you save to your private library, prompts submitted for feedback, XP earned, streak counts, badges, achievements, lesson progress, and practice mode interactions. This information is stored securely in Firestore under your user ID.
Stripe Payment Information (Premium Users Only)
If you purchase AskAI Premium, Stripe may send us your email, payment status, and product purchased. We never receive or store full payment card details.
Technical & Security Logs
Firebase and our hosting services automatically log your IP address, device/browser type, and basic request or error logs. This helps diagnose issues and prevent abuse.
Local Storage / Cookies
We use local storage and minimal cookies to keep you signed in, show XP and streak UI, and improve your experience. We do not use advertising cookies.
Analytics (Optional)
If analytics is enabled, it may collect anonymous information such as page views, device type, and general usage patterns. It does not collect your prompts.

5) Analytics
Analytics, if enabled, helps us understand general usage patterns, performance, and feature popularity. It does not identify you personally and does not access your prompt content. You may opt out through browser privacy tools.
7) Data Security
We protect your information using HTTPS encryption, Firebase security rules, access controls, and industry-standard safeguards. No online system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
8) Data Retention
We retain account data, prompt library entries, XP/streak history, and lesson progress while your account remains active. Payment history is stored as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may request account deletion at any time.
9) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any rights, contact us using the form below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
10) Children’s Privacy
PromptlyLiz is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child created an account without permission, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy periodically. If changes are significant, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.

6) Social Platforms
Our site links to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Once you leave our site, those platforms may collect data under their own privacy policies. We do not control or track their behavior.
